Responsible Gun Owner

This class is designed for the new shooter or someone who has not taken a structured class before, as well as anyone looking for a solid review of the fundamentals of shooting a handgun.

Topics include:

  • Gun safety rules
  • Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
  • Ammunition types and selection
  • Pistol selection and storage
  • Pistol cleaning and maintenance
  • Shooting range safety
  • Stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger press and reset
  • Students will complete live fire training using their own firearm (couples or families may share a firearm)

Approximately 2 Hours    $99.98 per student + $15 range fee.

Defensive Handgun

The goal of the course will be to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to use a semi-automatic pistol ethically, responsibly and with confidence.

Topics include:

  • Gun safety rules
  • Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
  • Ammunition knowledge and selection
  • Pistol selection and storage
  • Pistol cleaning and maintenance
  • Shooting range safety
  • Stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger press and reset
  • Single and multiple target engagements
  • Tactical and emergency reloads
  • Ready positions
  • Presentation
  • Cover Vs. Concealment
  • Use of cover
  • Shooting on the move
  • One handed shooting
  • Malfunction clearance drills
  • Students will complete live fire training using their own firearm

Approximately 3 Hours    $199.98 per student

New Jersey CCW Permit Qualification

Precision Safety Solutions will be conducting the necessary qualification to satisfy the requirement of the N.J.S.P. Be amongst the first New Jerseyans to complete the required qualification for your NJ CCW permit.

This is not a beginner course! You will be required to demonstrate safety, familiarity, and accuracy. The evaluation requires drawing from a holster and reloading. It is a pass or fail assessment.

50 rounds per firearm and a holster is required.

Students must successfully pass the N.J. Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation.

Must hit at least 40 rounds out of 50 rounds fired (80%) on a F.B.I. “Q” target.

$150 for 1 gun, $25 for each additional gun.

You must supply proof of identification and citizenship. (Driver’s license and birth certificate / naturalization paperwork / green card).

Firearm Safety and Dry Fire Methodology

This class is designed for the new shooter or someone who would like to expand their knowledge and improve their skills without firing expensive ammunition. Using state of the art analysis and computing technology. I can help you improve your shooting skills.

Topics include:

  • Gun safety rules
  • Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
  • Ammunition types and selection
  • Pistol selection and storage
  • Pistol cleaning and maintenance
  • Shooting range safety
  • Stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger press and reset
  • Malfunction clearance drills
  • Students will complete dry fire exercises where their performance will be evaluated, and areas of improvement will be identified.

Approximately 2 Hours   $99.98 per student.

Retired Law Enforcement Officer qualification

New Jersey and Pennsylvania RPO qualifications to comply with the requirements established by the Law Enforcement officer Safety Act (H.R. 218) and state statutes.             $60
